Markus Wagner Lawyer

Lawyer // Certified Lawyer for Criminal Law

Markus Wagner began to study law at the Friedrich-Alexander University in Erlangen after completing his military service in 1999.

Alongside his studies he started working part-time for the law firm of Dr. Bader & Partner GbR, a job he continued after taking his first law degree and throughout the term of his legal traineeship. Through this work, he had already gained considerable experience in the field of criminal law at the time he passed his bar examination.

He was admitted to the bar in June 2006, and since then he has been working as a defence counsel for the law firm of Dr. Bader & Partner.

In 2009, Markus Wagner was accredited as Certified Lawyer for Criminal Law (Fachanwalt für Strafrecht) by the Nuremberg bar association.

The focus of his work is on general criminal law, drug offences and offences under the Medicines Art, and on law governing the execution of criminal sentences.

Road traffic law is another of Markus Wagner's strengths.

In 20011, Alexander Seifert and he successfully fought a case in the Federal Constitutional Court, which concerned the recognition of a driving licence issued by another EC member state for the territory of the Federal Republic of Germany and received nationwide attention.

In addition to courtroom defence, Markus Wagner focusses on appeal cases, and he is experienced, and has been successful, in proceedings for judicial review of decisions by the Federal Constitutional Court.
